Standing Watch

For the last couple of weeks, I’ve been hearing on BBC Radio about a new and very graphic public service announcement put out by the UK’s Department of Transportation.  Well, here it is.  If you’ve got teens ith new driver licenses and cell phones, make them watch.  Little kids shouldn’t watch it.  Know an adult who text’s while driving?  Make them watch as well.  As a first responder, I’ve seen this sort of senseless and preventable tragedy too many times in the last couple of years.  The PSA is directed to a teen audience, but adults should watch as well.  After all, an adult texting while driving can kill a famly of four every bit as easily as a teen.

I guess I should include the following warning:  This video is intense, very graphic, and very, very, realistic.  The UK did a similar one years ago on drunk driving, and it worked.  I expect this one will as well.
